About Us

Our Story

JobPath USA — “Your Roadmap to Work in America” — was founded in 2026 with a simple observation: the American job market is enormous, but understanding it from the outside feels like reading a map with half the roads missing. Which employers actually hire internationally? What does a US résumé look like? Where are the jobs, really — and which job boards can you trust?

Too many people were piecing together answers from scattered forum posts, outdated articles, and conflicting advice. Some paid for “premium guides” that turned out to be generic filler. Others gave up on good opportunities simply because no one explained the basics — how hiring timelines work here, what recruiters actually look for, or which cities match their industry.

The portal is operated by EJDM. Our mission is to demystify that market for the people who need clarity most: newcomers to the United States, career changers starting over, and first-time job seekers who don’t yet have a network to ask. No gatekeeping, no jargon, no paywalls — just well-researched guidance in plain language.

How We Work: Editorial Standards

We take accuracy seriously, because career decisions are real decisions — where you live, what you earn, how you spend your days. Every guide is built on:

  • Research-based writing — claims checked against primary sources, not recycled from other blogs.
  • BLS data — salary and outlook figures drawn from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics wherever available, with dates noted so you know how fresh the numbers are.
  • Official career pages — employer information verified on the company’s own site, not on rumors or third-party summaries.
  • Human-written guides — written and reviewed by people, in language meant for people. No auto-generated filler.
  • Regular reviews — the job market shifts, so we revisit our most-read guides to keep them current.

When we get something wrong, we fix it — and we appreciate being told. Readers can report errors or outdated information through our Contact page.

Our Promise to Readers

Three things you can count on from JobPath USA. First, everything is free — we will never put a guide behind a paywall or charge you for advice. Second, we won’t waste your time with vague encouragement; if a strategy works, we’ll explain exactly how, and if something is a long shot, we’ll say that too. Third, we stay independent. Our recommendations are based on research, not on who pays us — and as our Disclaimer states, we currently use no affiliate links at all.

Who This Is For

  • Newcomers to the US figuring out how the hiring system works here.
  • Career changers translating experience from one field into another.
  • First-time job seekers — students and recent graduates writing their first résumé.

If that’s you, you’re exactly who we built this for.

What We’re Not

Clarity matters as much as honesty, so here’s what JobPath USA is not:

  • Not a job board — we don’t list openings or accept applications.
  • Not a recruiter or staffing agency — we don’t place candidates and we don’t represent employers.
  • No fees, ever — all our guides are free to read. We will never charge you for access.
  • No job placement — we can’t get you hired, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

The Team Voice

We’re writers and researchers who believe practical guidance should sound like it comes from a knowledgeable friend, not a committee. Expect direct answers, concrete examples, and opinions where they help you decide. If a job board is mediocre, we’ll say so — and tell you what to use instead.
